It's located in Kaanapali. Maui. All rooms have oceanview, decent pool and centrally located. I higly recommed it unless you want something super fancy.
beach house rentals on Kauai $40 a night....its a shack but its cheap, Kauai is hands down the creme de la creme of the hawaiian islands (lived there for 4 months).
If you're looking at Waikiki, I'd recommend the ResortQuest Waikiki Beach. Airline employee discount, right on the beach, flat panel tvs, and a great breakfast that's included in the room cost.
I'll second Aston / Resort Quest hotels. I've been every spring for 5 years now and have stayed at the Aston Honolulu Prince on an airline rate for most of the trips. This year, we're trying the Waikiki Circle hotel...it got really good reviews on tripadvisor and was 95$/night with the airline discount.
The Prince is always a bit cheaper...I think the first year was 40$/night and it has gone up about 10$ each year....last year was 81$/night...still a fairly good deal.
Have fun. We're going again in a few weeks. You can do a 4 night vacation for two for about 700$ there without being too cheap....can't even do two days in Vegas for that.
