As for your question...

OK, your words have been marked. I hope they figure something out to save jobs. But, what happens if they sell AQ piece-by-piece? If they separate cargo, trans-pac, inter-island and contract services, what do they do with flight crews?

I'd imagine it depends what they do and how they do it. Could be 363 asset sale in which case we'd be screwed. If someone buys the ETOPS or interisland operation separately, I'd imagine, or rather hope that they would honor our scope and fragmentation clauses in our contract. Basically, the pilots flying in the sub base that was bought would go with the aircraft. Don't know about other groups though.

It burns me good to read newspaper responses like the ones in the above link.
Why must people be so ignorant?

Is the date against Mesa Oct 8th, or earlier?
Maybe this is good posturing before that???
Trying to find something positive.

Lots O' Jobs

Lots of Jobs for you guys and gals! A friend has told me that Cathay Pacific alone is desperate. Just be careful working for a foreign carrier. It ain't for the faint of heart but a 777 or 747 rating would open more doors and they are free.
