Get rid of the banner ads, et cetera than I will contribute.

>>>Get rid of the banner ads, et cetera than I will contribute.<<<

296 posts and you can't contribute, say, ten bucks?

I have to wonder how many times you've visited this site in total and not posted... Five hundred? A thousand?

Jeez. Just contribute whatever it is that you pay for the monthly charge to get online in the first place. Even five dollars will help out... And don't use the "banner ads" as an excuse, even on dialup this site loads faster than almost anything and doesn't detract from the usability of the site.

Shame on anyone who has a hundred posts or more and can't drop the amount you'd spend on a few beers on a lame overnight towards helping keep this site alive and free of membership charges.

I have proudly donated (twice during this current drive) to help keep this site going. I use Norton Internet Security and have no pop-up or banner ads on any site, as well as firewall and anti-virus protection. Well worth the investment. However, this is no way influences my desire to contribute to help keep this site free and up and running.

I appreciate this site, recognize its value, and will continue to do my part to help make it the best of it's type on the web.

Kudos to all who share in this commitment. And a big thank you to all involved.

I donated, and I wish the recent color polls weren't removed...

Cheapo

Geez...pilots are known for being cheap but come on.

You guys come on this site for information and probably get what you're looking for otherwise you wouldn’t keep coming back. Like bobbysamd says, where else can you go and get answers to questions almost immediately…for free? I don't know of anyplace. I have posted some really strange questions (ones the FAA was even vague on) and got very good answers quickly.

Those of you posting excuses as to why you won’t give a couple bucks for this valuable information are the same guys that are quick with the excuses as to why you won’t support your union, vote, tip the van driver, etc. Lame.

I too am on furlough and managed to roll the pennies in my change jar just so I could give to this site.

I ponied up.

T-Gates,

Check your PM.

g'day!

I just gave!

Only 10.00 but I hope it helps. Tim.;)

Yes, I have donated. After I did, I found out what it takes to be a gold star donater, and I'm going to do that in January

I donated so I could continue looking at all the cool avatars! and in case karma actually does exist.

I subscribe to four different aviation magazines, but the reality is that I spend much more time reading flightinfo than I do reading those magazines. Therefore I think that it is worthwhile to make a donation to this site.

I am new to the board but have enjoyed reading most of the posts. I am in, as well.
