i was in the ATL airport last Tuesday in the E concourse and saw this ASA FO that made me laugh. He was wearing some "gucci-miami style" shades, his shirt looked like it belonged to his little brother, a "skinny" tie, and tight, low riding, hip-hugging uniform pants. I couldn't stop laughing. I would only expect to see shyt like that here at mesa

Next time, stop slapping your knee and snap a cell phone pic for all of us, ok?

Were the glasses white, with spiked hair? If so, I know exactly who you are talking about, graduated from college with him.

yea i believe so. i was to busy looking at his uniform. he looked really ridiculous. I hope somebody says something to him one day.

He's a good guy and a good pilot! Worked with him not too long ago. The sades for sure not your typical Ray Ban Aviators, but they are original I think.

Yeah,
Keep watching for him, he will be the guy with a job(unlike you), I am sure you can see him while you are working at Subway(after you finish subway "U" and IOE on the bread line).

Well d@mn if you didn't miss the whole point. Idiots that dress like that should go back to selling tricks on south beach, not making the rest of us look like we get treated lately.

Point is pDunce is gonna have to watch from the sidelines. All you toolbags who think "If we all just wear the dinner jacket and hat we will garner respect and will get more money." Guess what I would fly in a brazilian banana hammock and nothing else if it would get me more money, but when every pax goes to WWW.Iwannaflycheaperthanchit.com, banana hammock or full class As will not make a difference. pDunce like PCl are the problem, not part of the solution.

P.S. You get treated like you do because you allow it. Not because of some stupid sunglasses or iPod.
Check out Longshoremen or stevedores unions, those guys wear Levis and hardhats and make far more than you will ever will.

P.S. Hardcore rules, and airline pilots are anything but that.

PBR...I love you man!

This dude is a whole new sub-category of the regional pilot. The Nuge has spotted the "guy" in question and can attest to his flamboyant use of flare with the uniform. Someone needs to tell him the crew lounge isn't a cat-walk.

Call Pro Standards... you know his name right?

Do you think he wears mesh tank tops on his overnights?

Along with pay, job security, work rules, etc etc- this is just another part of the huge decline in this profession. I can't help but laugh at some of you regional pilots as I walk through the terminal. You look effin ridiculous, and honestly, I almost feel embarrassed for you. Ok, I really don't. The best is talking with some of these Fo's who brag about their pay, great job, and how "regional" pilots don't have to worry about furloughs, etc. Of course, I let them babble away and not to blow my cover as being a pilot. It keeps me amused.

Was he a doofus from South America who never takes the shades off inside, and has a cellphone permanently glued to his head?

Just askin'... no reason...
