a company lets you away for "family emergencies" etc...is "caring" about you???

sounds like common decency to me.

.

Could you imagine what type of company would send a pilot to do a approach into Aspen knowing that he is thinking about a family emergency at home.

That pilot should not be flying and should be on his way home. Anything else is just an accident waiting to happen.

Jetwash, that's an excellent point! I'd also like to add that helping out the (relatively) few pilots who have an emergency, hardly strains the company budget. While it is the decent and smart thing to do, it can't take the place of treating all of the pilots right. There are many problems families face that don't come to the company's attention. Fair/good wages will allow all of the frac families to be financially prepared for emergencies.

IT'S TIME TO DO THE RIGHT THING BY ALL FRACTIONAL PILOTS

Real classy. You sir, are a disgrace.

Don't see what's so disgraceful. Just putting my opion out there about a person who slings her own spun propaganda and doesn't even work in the industry. No apologies here.

And another one. How do you become a moderator, anyway? This is ridiculous. These guys need to go to the elementary playground and talk about all the bad words and rude comments they heard about. We don't want that filth here.
