Does anyone know of a good handyman in PHX? Or is anyone on here good at fixing things around the house that lives in PHX? I also need someone who does drywall and can maybe hang a bi-fold closet door. I am willing to pay cash or trade out in career services if anyone is interested.

If anyone is interested or knows someone who does this, can you please PM me with a phone number?

Thanks!
Kathy

Hey Kathy,

Don't know anyone in PHX, but happy birthday to your daughter!

Thank you Wrigley! We are having the big birthday bash on Saturday for her. You know, the adult excuse for indulging in cake and ice cream! :D

What kind of work are you looking to have done besides hanging the closet door and the drywall?

The closet door has to do with taking out a set of cabinets that give me no room for towels and sheets. So, I want to pull out those cabinets and put in shelves and then hang a closet door. Drywall and a track will have to be put in coming down from the ceiling. I have a couple of holes in the wall that need to be fixed, some childproof things put on some cabinets and the gates put back on the stairs for the baby. Most of the stuff is pretty minor, but I really do not know how to do them. There are a few other things that were not done correctly when my ex-husband installed them. At some point, I want to do some painting as I have lived here for about 13 years.

I have some experience childproofing and putting on the cabinet locks and whatnot,as I had to childproof my house when my wife and I got married,as she has a 2 year old. As far as the drywall,I don't know much about that. I do however know a good painter in the Phoenix area, and could refer you to him if you were interested.

Sure Av8or, would love to have the name of the painter. Also, I will take any help I can get with the childproofing. I have all the stuff, just cannot do it the way it was done for my son. PM me with the phone numbers. Thanks!
