glad the pilots are OK.

Ted K = huge bag of $hit.

Hows this?

Seconds before the incident Senator Kennedy was writing a speech in which the opening remarks where:

“America, in all my years in office, if I’ve ever done anything, and I mean anything detrimental to the health of this country; may God strike me down.”

Shortly after exiting the plane photos were taken of Senator Kennedy in what seemed to be stained kaki slacks.

Eeesh!...scary!
Perhaps this bolt of lightning came from a grassy knoll...

Now, I know the Challengers have an ADG for backup power, but I've got a question...
Do citations have such a backup source? What about gulfstreams?

If memory serves me right, the ADG's can be deployed by a pneumatic source, right? Are ADG's wired completely apart from the main power system/bus? I guess another way to ask is, if a jet is struck by lightning and loses all power, will deploying an ADG do anything? Or is the electric system just totally shot?

ADG? On a Citation? Are you kidding? Cessna wouldn't put wings on their airplanes of they thought they could get away with it. Ever heard the phrase "Cessna simple"?

They HAD to fly the plane MANUALLY?!

My GOD! How did they ever survive... TC

You would think Ted (and the rest of the family) would stick to trains...since they do not have any luck with cars or airplanes...;-)

On second thought, those guys should have taken one for the team and plugged that sucker straight into the hardest piece of real estate they could find.

All right! I'm just kidding...

I guess if we want to get rid of that walking colon, we'll just have to keep sending him cases of Goose and let nature take its course. ;) TC

I used to have to fly that guy around a lot. I thought he was stalking me - I was reassigned from Europe to Andrews AFB and he still kept popping up on my mission sheets.

He dosen't mind using the military assets he votes to cut.

He knew the military didn't like him. In our guest book, after the required lauditory comments he remarked, "I'd be pleased to fly with you again if you'll have me".
