A major security concern at the moment is the movement of transport shipping around teh coastal U.S. Can you imagine the environmental and economic affect that a strike against a large super tanker would cause. It is something whihc is largely difficult to defend against without good HUMINT sources on the ground. This is just one avenue that is open to them and outlines the vulnerability of a nation to defend against guerrilla tactics.

Agreed. However, I wonder just how concerned the US government really is when we seem to be open for business south of the border. Note: this comment is not meant to stir up the illegal alien debate but only question the logic of the US government when is comes to "Homeland Security".

i heard a story that over 300 servicemen and women in Iraq have been executed for various reasons, mental illnesses, speaking out against the war, etc. and the people coming back while the GOP has cut VA funding are in for a horrible surprise as well. food for thought

I don't trust head shrinkers...know of too much bs that goes on in various institutions because of them. Some are good maybe, I don't know.
