Will the passage of this just apply to passenger carriers or will they let the frieght dogs pack heat too
 
I hear those boxes and crates can be down right unruley at times.

A last minute amendment exempted freight pilots. So now the planes already protected by the mighty TSA will be enhanced, while the other side, with no security screening or bag-matching becomes an even more likely target. Evidently, our Congressmen do believe one of our 767's would do less damage to the Sear's Tower than one of United or Delta's.
 
Are you 121 or 135? For 135 all you need is authorization from your DO to carry a firearm on board. 121 the Govt must authorize.

I am Part 91, and we carry a bloody arsenal...
