For starters, I agree with everbody that GIA and their PFT 250 hr SIC time is a scam.


What I wonder about is the B-1900 captians that fly for them with the poor PFT goober in the right seat. These guys must have an ATP and a B-1900 type acording to the FARs. So they have at least 1500 hours, and some turbine time. If all this is true, why are they there, and how do they feel about flying the B-1900 single pilot.

What's the story on these guys?
 
if i can fly a 350 single pilot, im sure they can handle the 1900 single pilot...hell they used to be the same dam type rating.
 
King Airs are harder to fly with a 250hr SIC than single pilot. Flying with a guy who was paying to swing the gear would be even more difficult.
