A big thanks to Scott and Steve, the Colgan Guardian Angels for looking over us Monday AM at IAD when the right motor crapped out on the Saab. Did a precautionary inflight shutdown after losing oil pressure and all of the engine oil. Luckily this was a repo flight with no pax, just crew.

A big thanks also to Potomac and IAD Tower for working us in on 12 on very short notice with our Big E during a peak workload and to everyone waiting in line on 30 for departure. Your patience and professionalism was greatly appreciated. I know I took up your runway but it was the closest concrete to land on.

Lastly Kudos to my crew. The FA was our third set of eyes and the FO was PF and did an awesome job getting her down. SM, your recommendation letter for upgrade is on the Chief's desk. I was nothing more than a radio and checklist monkey.

This flight was dedicated to Scott and Steve, hope we did ya proud.

Glad to hear you guys are ok...

That being said, GET the heck out of Colgan before it happens again with different results.

Talk to you later bud!

are you sure maint. wasn't the reason for the problem???? Wouldn't be the first time.

Run while you still can. I did.
