In past posts, here and elsewhere, I have suggested that this remote controlled transponder will squawk 7700 or 7600 if the control input is lost. I have found that is incorrect.

In the EX-3 and FX-3 the transponder is controlled by the GDU 465 via the GSU 25. In a recent flight test I found that my GTX 345R continued to squawk 1200 and continued to provide ADS-B out with valid altitude when the GDU 465 breaker was pulled.

I have not yet tested what happens if GSU 25 is lost.
