Just wondering if you guys at Air Mid have heard anything about Gstream buying Air Mid? We talked about it in the instructor meeting the other day but I have heard alot of stories since, anything on your end?

Theres been rumors at Air Mid about getting bought since about February. I've heard Big Sky, Gulfstream, and Lakes all mentioned as possibilities.

Fact is JO wants to be rid of the 1900's and all of the above seem to be trying to expand rapidly, Lakes and BS especially, they could use the planes. Conditions are ripe, but their is a ton to making a deal work.. nothing imminent I don't think.

why you guys need more 1900's to fly as slow as possible in the florida skies?

TPA: "Gulfflight 123 say speed?"
123: "180"
TPA: "Air Midwest 456 say speed?"
456: "220"
TPA: "Gulfflight, can you pick it up, you are the same a/c correct?"

What the hell are you still doing there? Isn't it about time you were movin' on up?

yeah. yto rbpretcr? (sorry no backwards r's on flightinfo)
