speaking of eating huge volumes of food at a time. check this out. i thkn elvis would ahve done great if there was a peanut butter and bananna sandwich eating competition.

http://www.ifoce.com/

and speaking of food. i just got back form the store.....WTF? howcome coke costs $1.60+ for a 2-liter???......and no im not shopping in a rich neighborhood..... gas went up to $2.12 for the cheap stuff (here in buffalo)..i wasnt aware coke prices were petroleum dependant.....milk hasnt changed in a long time.

oops....sorry to have hijacked.....anyway, peanut butter and bananna actually is pretty good.....i dunno about 12 of them tho....and grilled. id prefer them not grilled....and sliced bananna.

Re: Grilled PB and Banana...

Elvis tended to eat 12-15 sandwiches a sitting! So belly up!

And all this time I thought the King died of a drug overdose.

He!!....the King ain't dead at all. Where you been, boy?

if you guys have never had a Bananna sandwich you're all missing out...i remember as when i was living at home full time dad would make them every sunday morning me and my three little brothers would have competitions to eat the most...the one brother could probably give Elvis a run for his money...:D

A fresh garden grown tomatoe sliced and placed between two slices of bread with a little salt and mayo. What a summer treat.
As for Elvis I think he is running against George Bush for president right now.

Only because of funds siezed from taxpayers does Public Radio exist. This is an excellent example of why.

Not true. NPR is funded mainly through membership dues and grants from private foundations and corporations. However, more tax dollars should go to public broadcasting which is relatively free of the influence of profit motive. The flaws with profit driven media are obvious.

The Splendid Table is not produced with any public funds.
