Just found this place I thought I would say hello to everyone. I retired from working last spring where I flew for a state police agency. In a period of about eighteen years I flew Cessna 180, and P210, with a few others kicked in every now and again. But mostly I logged the vest majority of my time in Kin-Air type aircraft from 90's to 100's 200's and spent a few years as PIC-SP in a 350'. Enjoyed all of it, well okay, most of it. Right now I have a few offers but I'm kind of enjoying doing what I want to instead of what someone else wants me to do. My outlook might change a bit if the toy money starts to run out.... I guess we will have to see. Even have some helo time bootlegged with the helo crews.

Anyone else been in this situation where you retire from one job only to later pick it up again. As a side note, I have about 7000 hrs, the majority of it in King-Air's, been to flight safety twice a year for about sixteen years and got my type from them.

I was looking for another place here to introduce yourself, but didn't see one. Hope I didn't step on any toes while attempting my introduction.

Gee Flight safety should know you by first name. I wouldn't be surprised if they have stimulator named after ya.

Welcome to the fun of the disfunctional family.

Well, if it will make you feel any better, recent conversations with one member of the board would indicate that he's looking for somebody to bonk in the head with a toe bar! :D Welcome aboard!

You'd be perfect for the FedEx feeders if you were looking for another full time flying job...have you ever considered it?

I have a year with a police department back in the early '80s, state certification back in '80s, a two year degree in police science, 5 years part and full time experience driving a patrol vehicle for a security company and am currently working on my criminal justice bachelors degree. I also have about 6 years of full time 135 experience in piston twins and turbines, both peeps and boxes, 1,200 hours flying jumpers and used to have a partnership for a few years with a couple of guys in a Cessna 320 Skyknight.

Don't mind me, but I do enjoy stiring the fire once in a while...feel free to interject with your vast knowledge and experience into any converstation where I may be talking about law enforcement, constitutional law, self defense, firearms, yadda yadda yadda. I have one rule...oh, who am I kidding...I don't have any rules. But I will guarantee you this...if we disagree in one thread, I don't carry the argument over into another thread.

Once again, welcome to the board...I have a feeling I might be picking your brain for some information relating to school subjects.
