What's the GREATEST flying DVD you've seen?

I need some recommendations for my 57" Toshiba HDTV and 5.1 Surround home theater. Got the ultimate set-up and want to impress my friends.

Looking more-so for documentaries, not movies.

Thanks!

From the Earth to the Moon

BE NICE if there was some really nice HIGH DEF video and audio modern military footage.

I have One Six Right, I highly reccommend it. It's a little slow sometimes but the flying scenes are great. And it's got an interesting past.

Oh, 57"!!

Not HD or widescreen or anything, but
2001: A Space Odyssey
is still the #1 artistic footage movie.

I got one in the mail today from ALPA and the FAA. "WAS THAT FOR US"
I would highly reccomend it!

I'll put in another vote for "From the Earth to the Moon" It was so well done, and told such an inspiring story. My personal favorite "episode" is called "Galileo Was Right", where Harrison Schmitt along with his old professor from Stanford (I think?) had to teach the others to become lunar field geologists. Really amazing stuff. I watched it all the way through about a year ago, gonna need to start again since you all made me think about it again...

Get AIRPLANE....that will impress them!

"The FAA, Airline Management....They're all cheats and liars" (Rex Cramer)

Another vote for "From the Earth to the Moon".

Awesome stories. "Spider", which tells the story of how the lunar module was designed and built was fantasntic.

The only bad spot of the whole series was the very last episode about the last mission, Apollo 17. It makes you ask "why the hell did we stop...we were just getting good at it..."

Nu

Decided to go with "Blue Angels - A year in the life"

Brand new DVD - filmed in 16x9 format, and 5.1 surround.

Discovery Channel Store has best price if interested.....LOOKS SWEET, can't wait til it arrives!

Special Hi-Def cameras were designed for filming in the cockpit footage!!
