This is a R182 that I can fly blindfolded...
Hold on... hear that? It's my lawn dart detector...

Maybe you should shut the engine down, put the blindfold on, then try to ice up your trusty 182? That could be another highlight to your "22 years" of flying.

Next thing we know, you'll be on here touting how you did just that and how it's such great experience, you'd recommend it to anybody.

Sort of like intentionally plowing around in ice, and turing a R182 into a glider. I've got a bit of dual given in that airplane, and if I remember right, it sinks like a brick $hithouse. Nice choice of "gliders."

We're going to read about you someday.

Thats funny, I had a 500 fpm rate of climb, it only sinks like a brick with 40 degrees of flaps. Maybe my VSI and watch was broke and I wasn't really up engine off for an hour. Of'course, you would know more than me with your, "few" hours in a R182.

"My IQ test came back negative"

No truer statement ever made by an idiot that thinks I fly through squall lines, I will leave that up to the idiot CFII that had to get home.

Sheesh man, I wasn't implying that. Quite the opposite- I was implying that I'm not, in fact, very familiar with the plane since I only have about 150 hours in it, and it's been a couple years. Chill!

To each his own. If you want to go doing stupid things in airplanes, have at it, but you'll be sorry one day. You can only escape Darwin for so long.

Not knowing your plane is stupid, I know mine, I better after a thousand in type with 200 aerobatic S2B hrs. Not knowing your glide distance with a froze and feathered prop is stupid, not to mention never practicing full engine out proceedures, but hey, it's you life.

Wow, I'm glad you know me and have reviewed my logbook and experience.

But you are right, master. I haven't a clue what I am doing when I'm up there.

I've read your posts in the past, and I'm not getting suckered any further in to a bickering match. In the words of General Lee... bye bye. :)

I didn't need to review anything, you were the one that said you had a "few hrs" in a R182 not me.

Off to the Caymans for CME till Monday, so until then I hope you don't have to practice engine out proceedures since you never did one, a real one that is.

Later!

TD-

Laugh these responses off, most are a joke. Pretty comical though to put it mildly. I am just a little surprised though that TonyC and his " little $.02" hasn't chimed in yet, maybe just a matter of time.:D You should have a FE package waiting for you come monday.

look forward to the "Next Vegas" one... !

I can't wait to tell you what i did to that idiot on ipilot, he in all kind of trouble!:D

Forget Vegas, pm me for the fight with minitour! I need dates!

That's pretty cool.
When I used to fly gliders out of Minden during wave season, I would look out and sometimes see a Pawnee (talk about a drag machine) with the prop stopped climbing up with us.
Always fun, just have a place to land just in case.

you gotta put up with mini now too?:D God Bless you- LOL j/k

j

expect that FE package -
