Contract

Yah...they'll show up in Feb, but they're not going to offer up anything better. The only way you guys are ever going a better contract is if the NMB releases you. And that may or may not happen after the meetings in Feb. The odds of getting a release get worse every day now that the airlines are hiring. All of the lakers who have been there long enough to be pi$$ed enough to strike are leaving the company. All of these new guys coming on are just happy to have a job and there's no way they would vote to strike. I'm afraid it doesn't look good at this point in time. If you guys need any help or anything just gimme a call. Now that Brian Faulkison is leaving I'm not sure who's going to take the reigns.

canadflyau, you're gay.

I carted Brian to CYS and he seemed very positive about turning over the reigns. To make sure everyone is onboard he is planning a very thorough update of all the little details up to this point. He was looking for an FO rep and that was it. All other positions I think he said were filled. Maybe I am optimistic, but I don't think it will skip a beat here... but still don't know what it will take to be released.

-Smalls and I are guilty as charged, lol

I submitted a resume a many months ago and was just called last week for an interview. No walk in, no LOR, no connections. I decided not to interview. I would have take about a 50% pay cut, and that's sad considering I fly a piston twin right now. I know it would be a better job for my resume, being turbine and 121 an all, but I just can't afford it.

Good luck to anyone else applying.
