I am a NJA frax owner and posted this on the frax board. But from my monitoring, you guys are the "gourmands".

All food talk allowed (but no BBQ since we have seen alot of that!!!). Anyone love Shorty's in South Miami on US1? My wife went to school in Houston and is partial to Goode Company BBQ (though I have never been there)

Time for some levity here with no talk about unions, wages, flight conditions, etc.

Since I get to recommend inflight caterers, who do you guys recommend in which cities??? Let me know. I usually begin traveling in NJ and Rudy's always seems to be great. When I am elsewhere, who (and what from them) do you recommend in 2 categories: (1) adults/business, (2) family/kids. I especially hit NJ, Fla.(MIA, SRQ and MCO, Marathon too but I forgot the letters), Rocky Mountain states, Toledo, MDW, BHB, Peachtree and PHX)

I need to know if I am missing great food somewhere

I usually just pack myself some turkey spam sandwiches and a big bag of ruffles

hey Owner..

upgrade to an aircraft with a real galley and have a flight attendent who is a chef and you can have whatever your heart desires!! Its a whole nother' game once you get out of the boxed and bagged food....I recommend your own GV with large forward galley..!!! (Im kidding..)

Rudys is good, but gets a little tiring I bet! Or maybe your favorite restaurants in the city can deliver out to KTEB??

I just think catering is just that...catering. I cant imagine it gets much better than Rudys..lots of places get rudys on dry ice to take to thier next stop as most places cant come close to thier quality (or thier price!!!)

I dont think you are missing much out there...pilots just get to the FBO, ask for the best catering, and thats about all they can do. Seems to me they all serve pretty much the same stuff, and its all mediocre...Unless of course you are somewhere that has a niche, like KBHB. then of course, lobster is the hit!

Im sure if there is decent catering somewhere, Netjets knows about it!

$299,252 a year short

G-200 I'd love to take you up on the G-V offer, but I just figured out I am $299,252 a year (+ taxes short) and $3.7 million light on the front end from my Excel.

I love the Excel, but I few weeks ago I was at TEB with a G-V parked next to the Excel. My Excel looked like a matchbox toy.

The heck with this "sharing" business...

You would be much happier with your own GV. The service and the food are substantially better!

:D

...just messing with you...
