Looney Left

It is amazing how the power denial can affect a person's point of view. Sept 11 was a wake up call but I guess some folks decided to hit the snooze button and go back to sleep. If there ever was a time to support our government it is now. Godspeed to all those enroute to the desert.

Hollywood half-wits

Of course, when we think of Hollywood half-wits we also think of Charleton Heston, Arnold Schwartzeneigherhnferiruir, Bruce Willis and, even the deified Ronald Regan.

Right?

I agree. Keep 'em all out. I'm sick of Oprah and Rosie. I've had it with Streisand and Bono.

And Gere? What a fruit.

These guys don't speak for me, but the Conservatives are making a huge mistake when they think so.

Celebrities make a huge mistake when they think their money can buy them sway; influence. This is what happens about 10 years after they've made it to the top. They realize they have nothing else to accomplish and *tons* of cash laying around.

Hmm. What would you do? Try to save the world from itself? Sure, but how pathetic when you've spent the majority of your life insulated from the real machinations of the world by your enormous gated estate; your chauffered limo; your 'yes-men' entourage.

You might even think it's your god-given mission to 'do something besides make music or movies.'

How sad. How pathetic. Just sing the song and go home.

I'm sorry....We're you talking about George H. W. Bush?

It does seem Babs threatened that before but can't remember if it was during the 2000 election. What about that great American and patriot Alec Baldwin? Didn't he threaten to leave? Loved his warrior spirit in the extremely accurate movie Pearl Harbor. Bet there's not a woman out there that could go 10 rounds in the ring with ol' Alec.
I'm just grateful they're out there to tell us what to think. I'll gladly throw my hard earned money at them even if it means I have to live in a tent. They work in a fantasy world so they probably live in a fantasy world as well.
I read something today where a LA radio station was launching some kind of protest against the protesters. I question our involvement as well but the celebs are peace at all costs. Wonder if the celebs ever consider that there aren't any entertainment stars over in the terrorist countries? The celebs benefit greatly by being here in "evil" America.
