Uh...what's this about? I didn't get past Ride the Wind's avatar. Why you gotta change on us like that? Can I borrow the old one?

I have heard that the Deice boot on the front of A Caravan bagage pod can dump a chunk of ice up to 50 lbs. Any of you Caravan drivers had experience with this?

The 737-800 (probably all NGs, but I only know about the -800) does not even have blue juice. The toilets are vaccuum systems, which use 3 ounces of potable water per flush. Incidentally, the flushed materials (from the front lav to the tank) reach a velocity of 127 miles per hour on their journey.

Anyway, just because the ice is not blue does not mean there isn't poo-poo or pee-pee in it.

If that's true, that's nasty! I don't fly the Caravan so I don't know.

BUT...

From all accounts I've heard, the Caravan in ice is just about like a trailer park in a tornado.

LOL! Is that on the oral? When I take my type ride someday, now I can put the check airman away when he drags this little fact out.

The more important question is: which lucky Boeing engineer got to actually measure that? I can picture someone wearing a raincoat and shop goggles, holding a radar gun! :D

I guess this means no more water balloons out the storm window, eh?

Yeah do you have any other views of that sweet gal? (Like from the other end)
Cmon ya gotta give us the source of these fine artist images!

I'm sure the freight dogs have seen grapefruit sized buildups slogging it out in the Northeast. You know, those days that you get the northern reroute on your way from BUF to TEB and have to spend an hour collecting heavy rime;) I've had stuff the side of small paint cans fly off the spinner. And the broken prop deice for that matter.
