We use Garmin 195 heavily for our line of work. On May 13th at 14:30Z I lost complete reception for 1hr in NC area. I kep gettin "Receiver Unable to Recieve" and Satelite couts kept dropping . Has this happened to anyone else or is it me only? How can I prevent this from hapenning again?

Thank you in advance,
C. MayDay

on a more serious note- that has happened to my III model and the simple solution is to shut it down for 30 seconds or so then turn it back on and problem will be solved... You really cannot prevent this from "happening"- but the above has worked for me everytime this has occured..

good luck

I'm surprised you guys are still alive. Not have a GPS availiable for Navagation. Wow, that would be challenging. How did you guys do it?

Yes that was a double dose of sarcasm.

Coming out of OAK that day I heard a couple of airliners on center freq. say they had lost signals. They were going into Oak or SFO, but were over Nevada at the time.

We wouldn't have this problem if there were more service monkeys to make those chemtrails using recycled cake donuts. That brings up another matter involving PFM, or pay for monkey, but perhaps it's best left to a more professional site.

I had a RAIM warning in a similiar place, for a while. I think it was solar flares reflecting off the black suburbans.

I knew cake donuts had to be good for SOMETHING. :D

LMAO.

Avbug, your post is going to appear on some wacko chemtrail government consipiracy theorists message board somewhere as proof that chemtrails are real. Use caution. Please don't let the secret out so openly.
