I've heard there are grants available to furloughed pilots through the government to further your career, ie type ratings, etc. Anyone have any info on this? Is it a state or federal thing, and has anyone known of it actually coming through? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Bored? Bummer dude...we needed a jump pilot this summer and we could have used you, but reality called and they said you needed 500 PIC to meet insurance mins!
