I did hear last week everything in the desert (25? 757/767) are coming out this year. Some old 757's (21?) going away but a positive increase in airframes and higher utilization rates as the flying levels ramp up.

Boys, I think Tilton and his gang at the ATA are quasi-colluding to keep capacity down in order to keep prices high. (This includes several CEOs)

With this uptick in demand, the goal of improving the balance sheets over the remainder of the year is something they all want.

Especially when the merger drums begin to beat again.

IMHO

Yep, but a lot of that may be in 2011.

As for AMR/BA:
Good for them. It is one of the most saturated routes in the world.

Hahaha.. Two weeks ago, when you thought Delta was gonna get the deal done with JAL, you were gitty about forming an alliance with them...

Now, they have 'the most saturaded routes in the world' -That's funny.

Hey dip********************. Re read the post. That was in referral to the NY - London market in which AA and BA have an alliance!

Context of the Alliance brother.

As for JAL. Guess they will have to live with the shortsighted decision. (Even they admitted it was shorted sighted)
As for not getting it. Yep, we did not get it. Sucks, as in five years it would have been awesome. Now we will have to go do it on our own.
