If you want professional help or info I recommend you avoid Justhelicopters.com at all cost. Post your questions here at Flightinfo and I'm sure you will get better responses.
They redesigned the forum on justhelicopters.com because it was getting out of hand. "The Original" forum is full of Anonymous posts that remind me of 4th grade banter. "The Alternate" forum is a more professional arena that is more mature.
From "The Original"
What to Expect…..
• Rumor mill, grapevine, gossip
• Anonymous – no login required to post
• Loosely moderated
• Rolls with daily events
• Discussion on ANY topic of interest to the helicopter industry
• Heated, raw, edgy discussion occurs frequently
• Frequent attempts at humor
• Professional courtesy is strongly suggested
• Proceed at own risk….
From "The Alternate"
What to Expect…..
• More technical discussion
• Very well suited for NEWBIES
• Login/Username/Password required
• Tighter moderation
• Bulletin board style forum
• Discussion more limited to helicopter related topics
There have been changes to the forums on Justhelicopters and there is information available through links. I got out of helicopters with over 6000 hours to fly fixed-wing. I miss the unique ability and versatility of a helicopter over starch wing aircraft and I do view JH and have been appalled at the unprofessional and child like banter that goes on in the Original forum and the Alternate forum although better, I think lacks the organization and monitoring like here on Flightinfo. I would venture to say if they made members pay like Flightinfo, JH would clean up fast.
