I am looking for a flight school in Honolulu that is a good flight school with a low rate. I am leaning towards a 141 school but part 61 is okay. I am 15, soon to be 16. Can anyone share any experience with a flight school in Honolulu with me? You can PM me if you want.

Wanttoflyhawaii,

You must not have liked the suggestions that we gave you from the last time you asked this question. So I will suggest some other schools if those were not to your liking. I would highly suggest Washin' Air. They have some of the nicest kept airplanes on the south ramp, but you don't hear much about them since they mostly work with students from Japan. I can highly recommend a solid flight instructor who has loads of experience and used to run his own school on the south ramp. PM me if you are interested. I am not sure of there prices since their website is in Japanese the site is here:

WashinAir

It may be tough to find a good flight school with a low rate. Those two usually don't come as one.

I do know georges is fairly cheap and they do a respectable job of teaching and of maintaining their a/c. They are not the top dogs but i think they do a fine job. There website is:

George's Aviation

hope that helps you along some more!
