ANGLE OF ATTACK, by Peter Hunt is hard to put down. it's about flying Intruders in the first Gulf war.

Flight of the Intruder

Great book about all aspects of carrier ops, Koonzt (sp) first book. He was in VA-196 CVW 14 back in the early 70's onboard CVAN-65, the Enterprize back when it was an Attack Aircraft Carrier, there is alot of real stuff in his book. other books "Fox Two" by Cunningham is a good carrier book about his dog flight in Viet Nam, "On Yankee Station, The Naval Air War over VietNam" by Nichols, "One Day in a Long War May 10th 1972" by Ethell, "Capt Hook" about one armed carrier pilot.
