Looking for good areas to live based in HOU

Looks like HOU may be a possibility as a base when transitioning to SWA. Don't know where to start looking for housing. Any suggestions for good communities to raise a young family (neighborhoods, schools, etc...)
Much appreciated.

In Houston? Ummmmm, yea. I got nothin.

Buena suerte, amigo...

Ever hear of Austin?

He's right....It will take you less time to jump seat from Austin then to drive from Conroe, The Woodlands, or anywhere from inside the loop. Hobby south kinda sucks....except for the food!

Woodlands, Kingwood, Conroe, Katy etc. There are many areas around Houston that offer wonderful QOL and good schools. Cinco Ranch master planned community in Katy offers top quality schools, K-12, and wonderful amenities. Don't be fooled, there are great places to live and raise a family in the Houston area. At first I was skeptical but after almost seven years I can't think of moving back. Summers are brutal but it was worse where I came from.
