The Aviation Services Department provides transportation solutions which enhance the corporations' success. We constantly strive to create value by delivering responsive, consistent, time-effective customer mobility. Our decisions and performance, at all levels, center on safety and security. The Aviation Services Department is a member of the National Business Aviation Association, the Flight Safety Foundation and the Chicago Area Business Aviation Association. Our department leaders serve on the Director's Roundtable, the Chief Pilot Roundtable, the Chief of Maintenance Roundtable, OEM Maintenance and Operations committees, regional safety and security committees and the NBAA Flight Attendant committee as we strive to maintain and exceed industry best practices. We are IS-BAO SMS certified. The Aviation Services Department consists of two international aircraft, eight pilots (including a Senior Director of Aviation and a Director of Operations/Chief Pilot), five maintenance personnel, two dispatch/operations specialists, one full time flight attendant and several contract flight attendants. This position reports directly to the Director of Operations/Chief Pilot. The successful applicant for this coveted position will be a leader both in and out of the cockpit. The department conducts operations throughout the world with approximately 30% of all flights being international.

Responsibilities:

Captain for Bombardier Global Express and Challenger 300 aircraft
Serve as Pilot in Command on the Challenger 300 and Global Express XRS; GEX and CL-30 type ratings not required
Provides for the safe, comfortable, efficient transportation of Executives, Board Members, and guests in support of McDonald's Corporation Aviation
Responsible for supervision of flight crew to ensure all ground and flight operations are handled safely and efficiently
Complies with all FAR Part 91 regulations
Evaluates and determines appropriate weather requirements, pre-flight planning criteria, weight and balance, appropriate airport selection and alternate airport selections
Thrives in a Team Concept environment, aligns with Company goals and objectives
Frequent travel including overnight stays.
75% Flying, 25% ground job responsibilities
Experience:
Skills Requirements:

5,000 hours total time preferred
2,000 hours PIC time preferred
International Experience Preferred:Atlantic, Pacific and South America
ATP certificate and First Class medical required
Willing to relocate to Chicago area-no relocation assistance provided
