I love this job!! Everyday is different and the view from our office is great. Im blown away that after ,17 yrs of flying, I still goto new airports every month. Never the same place.

I get temped togo to the airlines then ..... a better corporate job comes along.

I just get frustrated by lack of information in corporate aviation. Especially with customs. In PBI, you should get out of the aircraft and go inside without waiting for customs. In TPA if you set one foot on the ramp the threaten you with a fine.

Thanks everyone for your advice. Lets talk about these SLPs some more. There is almost no info about them. I am looking at the STARs to Stanstead right now. They are grey shaded squares. Only one on each transition. There is no speed limit label next to them, only SLP. Whats the deal with them. What is the speed they want you to slow too? Is there a speed limit below 10K, 250kts?

I also see they have the low Transtion altitude (only 6000'). I have to say I hate this! I think it is very dangerous. Its is too low and too busy to transition altimeters. I once landed in Buenos Aires with my altimeter on standard, 150 below sea level!! Lucky for me it was VFR. The controllers couldnt speak english and it was very busy. Add a green co-pilot too.

This is why I am on here looking for advice. I know there a traps out there and we all make mistakes.

We use Jeppesen and all the STARS have a note clearly stating "Cross SLPs or 3 min before holding facility at 250 KT or less." Maybe its your chart provider.

My trip to London Stansted was uneventful. Universal was my handler. They didnt even ask for my passport.

The FA50EX did not have an LOA so that made it slightly more challenging.

Ended up going to Geneva the next day. (Geneva hotels are awesome) Then Moscow Russia.

Moscow = metric. Decend and maintain 600 meters. Wind 10 km/hr. Vis is 5km. QFE 991

Any other forum members in Russia/ Moscow Vnokovo?

Glad you liked Moscow

600m, always got my attention.....

QFE / QNH in a gulfstream is slightly complex, suspect you had the same fun.

Was based there for many years in G5 an G550.

In the sunny sandy quadrant now, but I do miss Moscow.
