The throttles and speed brake in the X are in the middle of everything. The speedbrake handle sticks up above the Throttles. We are trained constantly on about how to perform an ADP.

When the plane levels off at 12.5k with speedbrakes extended and throttles to idle. It will just wallow. It will stall then recover then stall recover and repeat. it's holding the heading and trying to hold the altitude.

Plus there are enough horns and sounds going off to try and wake you up.
