Yes, its a fishing expedition, but sometimes they're fun. What are the chances, then, of a guy who has been tooling around Bush Alaska for seven years, of landing a job with a regional, preferably one flying out of the Western US? I've already applied to Southwest, America West, and am waiting for Alaska to gear up again, but for now Skywest and Horizon are the obvious contenders, and both seem like good places to make a home at for a good long while. I'm not that tuned in to the "normal" market, but it is evident that I'll need a middle step between here and the majors, and am simply wondering whether I'm underqualified for some jobs, yet over-qualified for most others? Comments are most greatly appreciated, as are questions about the AK job market!

Where are you flying out of? I'm born and raised Alaskan. Used to fly out of Bethel.
