He was still employed as far as I know. I feel for his family and as NJW said the 1108 will miss him sorely. My prayers go out to his family. It's stuff like this that makes you want to tell the people you haven't in a while you love them.
Sorry for you loss guys.
On the subject of the coat. I used a heavy dress coat made from wool or wool like fabric. They run from 150$ to 250$ and kept me warm though about 8 upper Midwest winters of walk arounds. And they look fairly sharp too.
Until last year when I had a nasty case of pnemonia I found it hard to understand how people died of pnemonia.
I spent a week in bed with pnemonia thinking I was going to die and hopeing it would happen soon to get rid of the pain. Zero strength and with the pain in my lungs I could never get comfortable.
My thoughts and prayers go out to all his family and friends. Sounds like he was a real great guy. Is there any way you can use this tragedy to convince the company to change the uniforms?
Geez that is tough -- my sympathy and prayers go out to his family. Did he have kids?
Does anyone know if there is a fund or something that will be set up? Will NJA or 1108 do anything to help out the family since it is more than likely (or at the very least a major possibility) his condition was caused or aggravated by his job?
If anyone hears about a fund or something please post or pm me. Thanks.
Amazing grace! How sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me!
I once was lost, but now am found;
Was blind, but now I see.
’Twas grace that taught my heart to fear,
And grace my fears relieved;
How precious did that grace appear
The hour I first believed!
Through many dangers, toils and snares,
I have already come;
’Tis grace hath brought me safe thus far,
And grace will lead me home.
The Lord has promised good to me,
His Word my hope secures;
He will my Shield and Portion be,
As long as life endures.
Yea, when this flesh and heart shall fail,
And mortal life shall cease,
I shall possess, within the veil,
A life of joy and peace.
The earth shall soon dissolve like snow,
The sun forbear to shine;
But God, Who called me here below,
Will be forever mine.
When we’ve been there ten thousand years,
Bright shining as the sun,
We’ve no less days to sing God’s praise
Than when we’d first begun.
