Seems Him and F Herman Have not been getting along and Fred has been trying to get in his face about BS he is pulling. About time someone on the LEC has stood up to the FAt man everyone talks about how they hate JC but then when he's around you here all the pilots say JC is doing good. This is right after JC sends in his two prostitutes before he shows up J.F and T.G. Seems this all started when T.G and J.F voted to not allow the pilots to get all their money at once from the settlement, and M.L and F.H voted to give it all at once. Then JC stepped in and voted with the no's to not allow it. T.Griffis has said if we get the money all at once pilots would leave at an alarming rate. JC can't stand me I asked him in front the 10 pilots that show up to our Union meetings, Why he rolled over for the company on the first LOA when we went into banckruptcy, but now he was willing to fight (since when he passed the LOA in the tie breaker he said it was the best for the company and the pilots that we pass that LOA). He looked away and started to ask if there were any other questions. Now all you Comair pilots stop your bit#ing in ops about your pay, you 780 voted it in and now you complain how low your check is. F.H has been calling anyone and everyone in the pilot group to let them know about JC's actions, Fred is one of few in ALPA that actually care about who he volunteers for.

And I found it funny how this thread appears above "the Truth about Airline Mang" they tie together well.

Actions speak louder than words. Everyone knows what kind of a miserable POS lawson is. The problem therein lies with the cmr pilot group....If they all know what kind of a prick he is why does he get re elected?
All his BS from his closet case supporting of the rjdc, to pissing on the DL furloughees, then to renouncing his support of the rjdc, the claim sale.........I want to know why this guy is still in office? It is quite obvious this prick has an agenda of his own!

I agree 100%, I fly the 70 and all the old farts say he's screwing us, but then they never complain to anyone else, just the guy who is sitting next to them on some flight that a 70 never should be doing. I fully believe like many that JC is in the back pocket of Comair Management, and if he is not then he is just their whipping boy. This pilot group except for very few never do anything but pretend things will change, and this gets frustrating because the ones that don't hope someone else will.

I gotta ask. What the HE!! does Griffis care if pilots leave Comair? And shouldn't every pilot have the right to decide when the timing is right for them to leave? How does artificially putting up barriers to trap pilots at a dead end company help Griffis? I'm not getting it.
 
Since when did it become the unions job to stave attrition? It might help if Soaper and the chiefs didn't come into recurrent classes saying, "if you don't like it, then get your a$$ out of here". I missed the day they taught that motivational leadership technique in undergrad.

Did you ever think that maybe they voiced their concerns when they VOTED NO! These "old farts" have been around longer than you have and know how the game is played.

havent met a 70 capt yet that voted no. most senior guys just want the check and to move on

Wasn't he the MEC Chairman that led the CMR pilots out for a 90 day strike? And to the best contract in the industry at the time?

Delta will probably sell CMR, either in an IPO or to another carrier, when they emerge from BK. The payday is simply to big for them to resist. The other option for Deta was to liquidate CMR in bankruptcy. Maybe J.C. is trying to position the pilot group to come out of these events on its feet. There is still a lot of conslidation yet to come in this industry.
