A true professional airline pilot will never forget. This is one of the last true brotherhood's out there.

True brotherhood? You're kidding, right? In this profession everyone is your brother only until the rent comes due. Then they become your distant cousin at best.

No, I am not kidding.

While you may fight like its your brother, you better believe that in the heat of the moment pilots will be there for one another.

In the air, or when in the need of the jump seat, we are there for each other.

That will never change.

Yeah....about that....could it be because the jumpseat doesn't cost anything? Like I said, until the rent comes due....

I understand that is was painful for a lot of people. However, you can not blame the pilots that work for Go jets for what happened to you.

I can and do blame the first cadre of glorified scabs that went over.
I can and do blame ALPA for telling the ual furloughed pilots to work there.
I can and do blame the transstates mec for not flooding hojets immediately and holding a quick election to contain it.
Lots of blame to go around, but the lions share of shame sticks to the original hojets that hopped over from transstates. Keeps them out of my Jumpseat too.

Bwahahahaha. You DO realize you are contract labor, right? This is the regionals. There is no "brotherhood" but hey good luck with that. Keep holding that bar. It goes to the cheapest bidder...period. When you move on from the regionals you will find nobody gives a crap where you came from, period. You will be welcomed into your new role as a (insert airline here)....pilot. Get over yourselves. Good Lord. I was at BlowJet. I now work with former Trans States pilots, Mesa pilots, GoJet pilots, Colgan pilots, Horizon pilots, SkyWest pilots, Shuttle pilots, ASA pilots, Chautauqua pilots, Pinnacle pilots, Air Wisconsin pilots, Eagle pilots, ExpressJet pilots, Lynx pilots, Great Lakes pilots, Mesaba pilots, Republic pilots, Air Midwest pilots, ATA pilots, Aloha pilots, TWA pilots, AA pilots, United pilots, (retired) Delta pilots, (retired) Southwest pilots etc.....
THEY DON'T CARE THAT I WORKED FOR GOJET. Get your time (anywhere) and move on, period. GROW UP. It sucks but that is how the game is played. All of you "haters" just play the game very poorly. Your fault....not everyone elses.

So, essentially, like any other major or regional airline interview then.

Especially the overweight issue!

Right?

Ha, nice try but blow jet takes the cake on fat/gravitationally challenged pilots. A real disgrace actually from what i have seen in the Denver airport.

After being in this industry for 10 years hear is what I can say:

1. The only true brotherhood is the one you have with your family. NOT other pilots.

2. Everyone on this board would join GoJets in a heartbeat if they had to. Look at Comair.

3. At this point the pilot shortage is like a pot-o-gold at the end of the rainbow: Everyones heard of it, but no ones ever seen one!
