Please Santa, Make Comair go away......

I keep getting propaganda to help them march on headquarters to defend their lame tails.....BOTH ASA and Delta pilots are being asked to help.

I just can't see myself making it......Literally...... You see, I still have a sharp stick in my eye courtesy of the Comair MEC that says "We will not hire Delta Furloughees". It's this same hypocritical bunch that took pay freezes to secure more jets right as ASA was negotiating for a long-awaited contract.

They need "brothers/sisters in arms" only when it suits them.......They resigned their brotherhood status when they pulled this crap.....

I would walk for ANYBODY else.....DCI or whatever......but Comair, Never!!!

Thank your MEC chairman Lawson for the lack of support from mainline and other pilots.......your pleas fall on deaf ears.....

I thought an unfortunate, tragic, and unneccessary accident could do it, but maybe a judge could just make them go away......good riddance!!!

I realize that our vote is usually shilled as "consessions for growth" but that's not the way I see it.

ALPA will not let the Comair pilots negotiate meaningful scope with Delta management. We tried to get a seat at the table but instead, got a copy of a letter from Woerth to Leo directing him to negotiate only with the people ALPA, the sole bargaining agent, sent to the table. And that would only be the DMEC.

The fleet guarantee Comair offered us was a backdoor form of scope and furlough protection. I thought it was worth buying. Unfortunately, we were trumped by the Skywest purchase of ASA and the block hour deal they got for infusing Delta with badly needed cash.

Bill:

While I share your dissatisfaction and don't care very much for the cmr pilot group in general, I believe this post to be a little over the edge.
As much as I would rather do a naked 3 some with the golden girls than picket with the cmr group, I don't wish anyone out of a job.
On the flip side, its amazing when in their time of deparation, they can actually have the balls to even ask the DL pilot group to support them after turning their backs on our (furloughed) guys in the time of need!
Interesting times indeed.................

Of course not, you and Baghdad Bob spin it anyway you can!

You worry about Comair scope and let DL worry about DL scope. Last time I checked our bargaining agent was DALPA, negotiating with DL management. As much as you tell all your non flying friends, you are NOT a DL pilot!

The fleet guarantee Comair offered us was a backdoor form of scope and furlough protection. I thought it was worth buying. Unfortunately, we were trumped by the Skywest purchase of ASA and the block hour deal they got for infusing Delta with badly needed cash.

You guys like to lie and spin, how is it when you know you're telling the truth. Maybe its time to stop spending so much time under Dan's desk and worry about the company that is folding around you!

Two wrongs dont make a right, brother.

But as everyone says picketing and leaflets don't help, and neither does someone saying we support you. So really its us verse Management, thanks but we don't need you. Why don't you just shut up work to its time to retire collect your pension and move on, oops can't do that either, well go have fun at USAirways Oh I mean Delta. P#ssy.

You are truly pathetic. How exactly do you live with yourself when you wish that 5,000 people are out of a job? Losing your job sucks, heck, even the threat of losing your job sucks. It's stressful, I can count at least three suicides at Comair in the past year. Why'd they do it? I don't know, but I don't think that the threat of their employer cutting their wages and/or going out of business helped.

I'll stop now because I don't want to get kicked off of this forum.

Good, then there's no misunderstanding!

Your mec made that loud and clear, and the lack of voice from your pilot group only solidified that!

So really its us verse Management, thanks but we don't need you.
Again good, then there's nothing to see here, now move along and worry about your 1113. Seems your bigger fight will be with your bretheren at SKYW taking your airplanes!

I'd say our retirement is doing alot better than those of the other carriers that went through a chp 11 filing. Maybe if you had more intelligence, you'd know that. Also junior, I'd be careful what you wish for, if this thing goes through, cmr will be the first to go out of business. But by your name calling and hiding behind your dad's computer, I expect nothing less than a coward-like little girl like you!

While agree that Bill's post was less than tasteful, perhaps you should look at the responses from some of your comair bretheren like ms. samballs!

Do all of the Comair-obsessed Delta pilots gather here on Flightinfo? I mean, I've met and talked to hundreds of Delta pilots over the last few years, and almost without exception they were nice guys and had no complaints with Comair or any other DCI pilots. Like most pilots, they just wished everyone in the industry good fortune. Yet I come on here and it's like all the Delta guys getting worked up in some sort of weird DCI hate frenzy. You guys must be a real joy to fly with.

I'm sure the tune is different when one isn't around.

This thread has done nothing but promote hatred towards another airline. You can thank the guys on here calling others names and making comments towards the accident.
