A great and cheap atomic clock by casio displays both GMT and local time (12/24hr) at the SAME time!!!! Great purchase at Wal Mart for 29 bucks.

I could have sworn that atomic clocks ran upwards of 1 million dollars. Leave it to Wal-Mart to bring down the atomic clock industry.

It is not really an atomic clock. It recieves a time signal from an atomic clock. They have had this kind of thing for your home for a while

The Casio Atomic watches receive a time calibration signal transmitted from Fort Collins, Colorado. Signal reception is possible within a radius of about 2,000 miles from the Fort Collins transmitter. See manual for an explanation of ideal conditions for setting as well as factors or locations that can create and make reception difficult.

Local time as in all times are local? Changes as you travel through time zones? Like a cell phone?

I miss my old Timex internet messenger watch with flex-time. Too bad they dont support it any longer.

I have one, the G-Shock. It is atomic and has all the time zones of the world. Pretty cool and a lot cheaper than the Citizen world time watches. Plus the G-Shock watches are just about indestructable. The atomic only updates in the US, but it is nice to have the correct time all the time.
