A buddy of mine is in negotiations with his boss for a pay raise, I was wondering if anyone had the current salary figures from NBAA, Pro pilot and anything else that I could send him.

TIA
Happy New Year.

C'mon CG, we all know it's really for you! Getting cold up North there?

I have a "friend" who has a burning feeling after he was in Haiti.

Any idea of the proper medication he can take?

Thanks Gumby, not too cold for me. maybe for the wife :)

Sorry to hear about your buddy Diesel. You (I mean) he should be more careful in a place like Haiti.

Yeah, Dominican ho's are way cleaner than Haitians... TC

Not in the North East, but my buddy in S. FL makes $80K a year plus per diem as a typed FO. With the per diem I think it is getting pretty close to six figures, but not sure. Someone else probably knows better then I.

Thank Shamus, he makes probably $135 + all the bennies he just wants to make sure when they negotiate that its comparable to other GLEX operations in the region.

I have heard 125-175K in the Northeast for Globals.

of course, there are always guys here on the web making 300K+, I just dont know any of them.

I tend to hang with slackers though....underachievers are my type of people.

2004 NBAA numbers

These are the number from Table 22:
"These are the 2004 numbers for a "Heavy Jet"* Captain (table 22) Base Salary:

Average: $104,871
Median:$ $101,586
Third Quartile: $118,000
90%: $130,572
Maximum: $200,000

* Heavy Jet is defined as over 35,000 lb."

However, a Global in the North East, probably should use the numbers from table 25 Heavy Jet, Captain, Base Salary, Maximum, here are those:

Average: $130,744
Median: $129,000
75%: $150,280
90%: $160,000
Maximum: $180,000
