I think PP showed the medain to be mid 130's...
I have heard 110's, I have heard 170's...others here seem to laugh at anything below 250K. I guess eliminate both the Bull$hitters and the severly underpaid and the 120-170K window seems norm.
I know, a wide margin..but thats not unusual I suppose.
location seems to have a lot to do with it also. COL may drive numbers up or down.
One must provide info also...where?, brand new Captain?, really typed co pilot? Intl experience?, 135?, Lead Capt with lots of other duties?, quality of job?
All are factors IMHO.
A strong guy with references, experience, etc. can usually capitalize on the "you are what you negotiate" theory. A big plus -someone with strong Intl. time and who can be set loose overseas quickly.
