ATA union is the source. I don't work for ATA but I spoke to one of their union reps, that I know and he told me the same thing.

ATA, ALPA, World and NAA had a meeting this past week and ATA's union told the rest of the group about the purchase. I called a friend at ATA and he confirmed the rumor. Sorry, it may not be true, who really knows.
