I've been spending more time today admiring the 747 cover pic on my 2005 ATP Gleim study prep book than actually studying the contents, which is self-defeating in the long run, but hey, we all have those kinds of days.

Who's operating the 747 on the cover? Red Stripe down the windows on the lower deck, white fuselage, and the words "Sky Cruiser". My first thought was TWA, but a quick search on airliners.net failed to come up with any similar paintscheme. Any thoughts?

HA!

I've wondered the same thing. I seem to spend too much time looking at that 747 instead of having the book open.

My thorughts are that the picture has probably been edited to remove any company markings.

I carried my ATP book around with me to the Bahamas and back to Florida for 6 months and never studied. Then when I needed to take the test was really upset with myself for not studying more. I ended up at All ATPs for a day and scored an 89. Go turn the book back in for a refund and go to All ATPs, its worth it.

I fly as pax A LOT .. I'm in transit for 24 hours every other month and I always take my regs with me, the POH for my plane and blank flash cards. I've logged almost 250,000 miles since Oct 2004 and I've never ONCE opened either of them to study. How pathetic is that?

I even switched to an airline that didn't have a personal/seatback inflight entertainment system so I couldn't watch movies on demand, play video games, etc. No luck .. didnt study.

Thats my new year's resolution for January. To study just 1 HOUR per week for regional airline interviews.

Is the book a prep for the oral?
I am having 4ell getting through all the FARs and such, have done the written no problem but I am finding the ASA sample oral test questions hard.\
I want to ace this baby.
