We have this great thing called the "Avoidance Bid". Ty may be only flying with guys on reserve. If it gets too bad, the Chiefs will politely ask (tell) the guy to change bases. It doesn't sound like Ty will have that problem...now if Fudgepacker were here, they would have to create a new base in Tehran....

I don't think I'll be bumping Gup out of anything, except maybe his spot at the bar, when he goes to spring a leak.

I haven't decided how to bid. . . . . it really comes down to QoL, and the commute is a big part of that. ATL is one of the few places I can get to easily from down here on the Redneck Riviera . . . . so if I can hold ATL as a 717CA, I will bid it.

If not, I'll probably bid 737FO, in which case, I'll be the one arming the autothrottles with my left hand . . . . we will have autothrottles, right?

I was hired before Ty so I'd better damn well be senior to him! But I will enjoy drinking a beer with him when this is all over.
