That's awfully contentious responses. The letter defines this whole process. If AirTran is one of many steps preluding bigger and better things- no one will care much about the integration drama. Movement and progress will dampen it all out.
If on the other hand, it becomes like age 65, and a period of stagnation follows and predictions of a lesser impact prove false... Then the culture might be in real danger.
I, for one am positive - and I know 1 thing- I'd rather be an FO at SWA making good money than be a captain at most other airlines.
But I'm looking forward to international growth as a combined carrier.
