Looking for a way to start studying for my type training in the GIV. I have heard the box is the hard part. Can any of you guys give me some heads up, or links to try and prepare.

Thank you

Dude ,

it must feel nice to be getting out of that Lear?!?!:D

I would give FSI a call, they have a pretty good GIV program. Not sure how much the books will cost you though.

good luck,

My lower back and upper as.s are seriously happy to be leaving the lear behind.

I have a CAE class date already. Just looking for any info on the Avionics.

I have only used GNS and Universal. I hope there won't be any problems.

Just study, learn, and prep like everybody else. No free passes. It's not that hard, just another plane.

Whats the box?
my guess is the FMC flight management computer
If you are <30, no problem. Those of us over 30 have to work twice as hard to figure out all the buttons.
