I'm currently trying to get into the AF Reserves, and I have an interview with a Lt. Col. next month, but must have my flight physical certified prior to the interview. I've already tried to get into active duty, but during the flight physical, they discovered that I had areas of thinning in the retina of one of my eyes. As a result the DQ'd me. I've gone to civilian eye doctors that say that this is fairly common, and really serves no greater chance of me having "retinal detachment" than anyone else. I'm just wondering if there is anyway to get this waived?

Thanks
