Jafar,

Or just realize sometimes it's not meant to be. I realized that about military aviation a few years ago.

In all honesty, good luck.

I'm in the same boat. Quite my job last august so I could move home and finish my app. Missed the last half dozen boards due to recruiter changes and paperwork screwups. 5 recruiters and a thousand double forms filled out in triplicate later I'll be at the SEPT. board as well.

--best of luck to yah!

NEVER!:D

Seriously if all is said and done and in a few years I'm not flying military aircraft I'll be an officer doing something else. The military is where I belong for the foreseeable future. Flying is a life long dream and I absolutely love doing it, but I've gotten a taste for military leadership and that's where my long term goals reside. I'm quite confident however that I will be in a military cockpit.

It's a lengthy process, isn't it? Well at least I know everything is finally done and squared away now. September is the last board of the fiscal year, and that doesn't excite me much, but even if we're not picked up we've got the first board of the following fiscal year right after it. Good luck to you, too!

Negative! the process itself weeds people like you out of the race . I'm not saying that in a negative way, but this is all about who wants it bad enough.

He will get a slot.
