"Feeling unloved already, coach passengers may have more to grouse about as Boeing Co. (BA) shoehorns 11 more seats into the economy cabin of a new 737 model. "

"Boeing announced at this week?s Farnborough Air Show in the U.K. that it will build a new variant of the narrow-body 737 Max 8 aircraft with as many as 200 seats. That?s 11 more than the Max 8 now under development."

Still somewhat better than this Airbus idea;

Perhaps the airlines will implement this seat idea from the movie Burn After Reading;

The ladies (and perhaps Looking) might pay a bit of a premium..... and ask the crew to find air that is, a little less smooth?

Sorry Trader,

Boeing has already stated that they're reserving the "burn after reading chair" for the flight deck seats as a common airline request. United is going retrofit their entire Boeing fleet in fact.

In an interview with Jeff Smisek, a reporter asked, "Don't you think the new seats will bother your pilots?" Smisek responded, "Naw, they've gotten used to it over the past decade. Plus, it should help free up time around our offices as the chairs slowly take over our role."

Guess that's why your union reps don't hold a line :D
