Not bad 414!

Maybe I can volunteer to be an analyst and make Major...lol!

Of course, the "seeing Geraldo and fast-walking the other way" might not be far from the truth. I doubt even the best-acting of these guys is well-accepted by the average grunt and probably despised by officers as yet another detail to worry about.

That's interesting...I saw him do a live shot while he was with the 101st just about 50-60 miles from Bahgdad after this stroy broke. The MSNBC reporter that "broke" the story has been canned so I hear....Got to love the accurate reporting from our wonderful news organizations.

I think you have some things mixed up in this media crazy day.

MSNBC/NBC/National Geographic canned their Baghdad reporter Peter Arnett for saying anti-war, pro-Iraqi comments during an unapproved interview with Iraqi TV that aired yesterday.

Fox News reported Geraldo Rivera is being kicked out of Iraq for drawing a map of Iraq in the sand, diagraming his units location realitive to Baghdad and then drawing the location they were going next. He broadcasted that it was rumors from MSNBC that he was getting kicked out before later hearing that indeed he was getting kicked out.

We should all be reporters:

What the heck are we doing in aviation? We go to school, get an education, train our @sses off, pay the dues for the CHANCE at making the big money.

Might as well have been a reporter. Could have skipped the education since they obvioussly don't have that. No need to learn common sense, cause' they don't have that either! And they make more money than I ever will in the forseable future.

No Poopstick!! It makes me wonder what the hell I'm doing when I go over to my friends' big expensive house to check out the new $10K Flat screen Tv and the new Benz. My daily driver is a 13 year old Honda with a nasty exhaust leak, I live with family and count the change in my ash tray as part of my savings account........but then I remember, they have to work for a living, I get to fly.:).... Does anybody remember that "Al Capone's Vault" special that the supreme Dip Sh!# did a while back?

Just remember Peter Arnett during the Gulf War 1...seemed a bit slanted in the same direction then...he really doted on that "baby milk plant" that got hit by an iron bomb, and disintegrated...

Still There!

Just watched him again 10 mins ago. So what gives?

The radio this morning said that CENTCOM had asked FoxNews to remove him...

CNN is now reporting that Geraldo will indeed leave Iraq and the 1-0-first on his own, rather than being officially expelled. The drama continues. Amazing though that this has been the most talked about story of the war for the last 24 hours, minus the unfortunate civilian shooting.
