I am amazed at the crap that the two of you pour from your pie holes. You two together do more to drag this message board down into the sewer than anything i have seen. You must be the most miserable pilots to fly with. God I would hate being stuck with either of you. Actually I wouldn't be stuck, I would have you removed from the trip.

If you hate this profession as much as it sounds like you do, quit, go find some other job to lay your pathetic crap on!

And two, what makes you think you have the ability to remove anyone from a trip other than yourself?

Ok, I will correct you. He originally said "poor" then after I called it to his attention, went and corrected it to "pour".

Stock tips? Stay out of it I guess would be my best tip. I just happened to get some valuable options from my company that worked out well. Pure luck I would imagine.
 
I have to step in a defend Genarel Lee. He has in-depth knowledge about the industry and just about evrything he says is right on the mark. All I can assume is that the General must have stepped on your toes a time or two.

Thanks man. No, I have no idea who he is. I just responded the way I usually do, with a little humor and common sense. I would refuse to fly with someone like that immediately. I hate flying with crusties.

I'll call B.S on that one!!! I can't think of one dang thing that Gen L posted that was "right on!" He is usually so far from right with his endless speculation and constant rah rah cheerleading of Delta and all their woes! JMHO

Although alot of times the Gen will get on your nerves a little, and he can lack objectivity in his many post and opinions,he at least is colorful and consistent. I know when I am reading a barn burner thread on here, in the back of my mind I am waiting for the General's input so I can either scream at the computer screen, get a good chuckle, and sometimes even agree with him on some things. It would be pretty boring on here without the General and his group debating Fins, Surplus, 79%, Inclusive scope, and their group. Heck, sometimes it's better than Desperate Housevives!
 
Maybe I should start my own website, with a $50 activation fee for new members of course. It would be great----filled with only positive spin on Delta and Dalpa, and I would throw in some wonderful recipees---like extra fiber muffins that get "things movin" every morning! I could censor anything about the RJDC and hire Lowecur to give all financial opinions. Kit Darby could give a weekly "new hire" report that most certainly would be dead on accurate. I think it would be a hit!

ok, i know learlove fairly well, we used to work together, so i have no idea why you'd have beef with him, i've never seen him post an 'out there' message really....

i'll agree that general annoys me sometimes with his mainline superiority stuff, but hey to each their own, i know his stance so i got over it

but learlove? come on, what did he do to you to cheese you off so bad????

and now that i think of it, lear love and the general, are from two different sides of the fence, particularly on scope and regional inclusion to the mainline

$50!!! We're pilots, we can't afford that. Even if we could, we'd be to cheap to pay it. Otherwise, it sounds great.

On second thought, you do mention the fiber muffins, so.......free food, count me in!!!
 
I'll second Dash8's post. I don't know General nor his background, but he is a fixture here for as long as I've been trolling this board. And his posts, some of which I don't agree with, are always grounded, even if they are occasionally blunt. And I love his signature making reference to a hilarious SNL skit.

I know Lear personally myself. I have never flown with him, but we were initial together at ALG, and we came from similar backgrounds (ie. we both worked for the same employer at different times before ALG), and our career paths (up until about a year ago) have been identical. Upgrade, downgrade, etc. He's seen enough in his time to be allowed enough latitude to say whatever he wants. If you take issue with what he says, take him up on it. I'm sure he'd love to discuss. I know that if I have a professional issue or I am looking for advice, I'd call him up.
 
Correction. I mean General's old signature. I see now that it's been changed. (I like the "Jimmy Tango" one better).
 
WOW I go away for a few days and come back to this. I don't know what I did to piss this guy off but maybe if he's got a problem he should take it up with me instead of like in his first post.

I've been around this board since pre 911 and back then would argue pretty well about stuff I think is really stupid now along with the name calling twards the boys at mainline and the contract carriers but that has long since passed. If it has been done in the past say 2 years its as a joke and usually note as such in the post. Thoes days are over, I have enough friends at just about every carrier out there to know by now that I would never want to see bad happen to anyone I share this profession with. Enough said.

Maybe he doesn't like me because I can't spell very well? I did cut somebody off (by accident, thats another post) on 95 the other day on the way to work, maybe it was this guy and thus his post? Hey General did you cut anyone off in ATL lately??

I know I can make some pretty wise a$$ remarks but who else around here doesn't make them. Generally I been on this board for the past 5 years an always tried to pass what I've learned other and also used this place to gat a world of advise you can't find anywhere else.

Anyway thats all I have to say about that and thanks to the guys who stood up for me with posts and emails.
