The Corporate Aircraft Captain ensures that assigned company aircraft operations are conducted safely and efficiently. The Corporate Aircraft Captain must be able to fulfill these requirements as specified by the company Flight Operations Manual and the applicable Federal Aviation Regulations as well as the regulations of other governing authorities. The Corporate Aircraft Captain must also possess and demonstrate the skill and judgment required to perform these tasks in a superior manner.

The Corporate Aircraft Captain must be able to work effectively as part of a team, consisting of the other pilot assigned to the flight, maintenance personnel, and schedulers. Captains will be assigned to flights as Captain or as Co-Captain and must be able to function effectively in either of these roles.

The Corporate Aircraft Captain must also assume responsibility for overseeing the passenger service aspects of assigned flights. In addition, the Captain must be willing and capable of administrative duties in support of the air transportation department as appropriately assigned.

This position reports to the Director, Air Transportation.

Responsibilities:
• Appropriate routing and airport selection, fuel requirements, weather planning and implications and ability to modify accordingly.
• Operational and technical knowledge of the ISBAO certified General Mills Air Transportation Operations Manual
• Work with other assigned pilot and apply General Mills aircraft procedures. Must be able to function effectively as Captain or Co-Captain
• Establish a helpful, welcoming relationship with passengers. Ensure that catering/beverage service is properly provided. Accommodate any particular special needs or requests to the extent possible.
• Assist in the routine administrative requirements of the aviation department.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualification Qualifications:
• An FAA Airline Transport Pilot license.
• First Class medical certificate with no restrictions.
• Detailed knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations, Airman’s Information Manual, Air Traffic Control procedures and aircraft systems.
• Detailed understanding of FAA Part 91 Operations
• Aeronautical experience and education sufficient to enable the skill and judgment required.
• Ability to travel internationally, including valid passport.

Most of those type jobs are filled then posted as an human resources eoe function. If not, there's only about 200,000 resumes to review.
 
Yeah, frustrating trying to get into these kinds of places. You HAVE to know somebody... and know them well!
 
Funny thing is a buddy of mine is an account manager and says that GM just let go of a bunch of them, including him.
 
That's pretty restrictive medical requirements: "Glasses wearers need not apply". (• First Class medical certificate with no restrictions.)
